Port Tampa Bay has selected Sensfix as its AI platform partner for a comprehensive operations intelligence deployment. The partnership encompasses automated cargo counting, crane safety monitoring, and terminal optimization using existing CCTV infrastructure.
The deployment features a custom 6-state crane bucket tracking system that classifies bucket status across empty, loading, loaded, unloading, travel-empty, and travel-loaded states. This enables real-time tracking of cargo throughput with accuracy improvements of over 95% compared to manual counting.
AI cable-tracing monitors crane cable integrity for safety compliance, running 24/7 with automated alerts for cable anomalies. Real-time dashboards on Google Cloud Platform provide live operational intelligence to port management.
The partnership represents one of the largest AI deployments at a US port and serves as a reference implementation for the Sensfix port operations vertical.
